The designs shown on our web site are just a sampling of gift ideas that we can create for you. Our staff of designers will be happy to customize an exceptional gift based on your specifications and within your price range.

Substitutions
The Gourmet Gift Horse reserves the right to make substitutions, as necessary, based upon product availability, seasonal changes, and the discovery of new items. All substitutions will be of greater or equal value as we use only products of the highest quality.

Wrapping
Most of the designs on our web site have been photographed without final wrapping to provide clearer images. Our hand-delivered gifts are finished off with our signature cellophane wrap and a beautifully hand-tied bow. We design and pack our shipped baskets to ensure that they arrive in beautiful condition. These gifts are held in place tightly by cellophane, and topped off with a beautiful hand-tied bow.

Shipping & Delivery
The Gourmet Gift Horse ships throughout the U.S. and Canada. Orders placed before 12 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday are usually shipped that same day. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday are shipped Monday. Larger orders may require additional lead time as The Gourmet Gift Horse builds each item to order.

Shipments are sent FOB via FedEx Standard Ground service from our Redwood City, California, location unless specified differently at the time of your order. Gifts sent to recipients in the San Francisco Bay area may be hand-delivered depending on the nature of the item ordered and our delivery schedule at that time.

Shipments within Northern California usually take one business day while shipments to Southern California and adjacent states typically require two business days. The FedEx service guarantee, however, is one to five days for standard ground. Other FedEx expedited delivery services such as Next Day or Second Day are available via the checkout process for an additional fee.

Shipments and hand deliveries are made Monday through Friday. If you have special delivery requirements, please contact us to discuss your needs. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

Prices listed on this site do not include shipping and delivery charges or sales tax unless otherwise stated. Shipping charges and sales tax (if applicable) are detailed during the check-out process.

The Gourmet Gift Horse makes every effort to expedite your order. However, weather conditions, holidays, occasional carrier delays, the location of the recipient, and incorrect addresses information can all impact delivery times, specific dates or times of arrival cannot be guaranteed.

Recipient Information
Please be careful when providing recipient information. Provide the recipient’s full name and complete address, including suite numbers, apartment numbers, room numbers, city, state, and correct zip code. We also need the recipient’s phone number in case FedEx or our delivery person must contact the recipient to ensure delivery. Incorrect delivery information may result in a delayed arrival and/or additional fees from the carrier, which will be charged to the credit card that you provided when the order was placed. If a gift is returned due to incorrect shipping information, the purchaser will be contacted to provide an alternate shipping address and will be required to pay the additional delivery charges incurred for redelivery. So please double check the information before placing your order.

Purchaser Information
The Gourmet Gift Horse cannot process any order received without the full name, address, city, state, zip code, and phone number of the person purchasing the gift. This information is required for us to process your credit card. Your phone number is required in case there is a problem with your order. Your email address is required so that we can contact you regarding any problems or questions about your order, and so that you will receive tracking information for your order.

Return/Replacement Policy
Your satisfaction and your recipient’s satisfaction are 100% guaranteed. Your image and professionalism is represented with each gift we deliver on your behalf. As such, our pledge is personalized attention and outstanding execution. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us immediately.

Acceptance of Terms of Use
By using gghorse.com, you agree to all terms, conditions, and notices both referenced and contained within. Please do not use this site if you do not agree to these Terms of Use. The Gourmet Gift Horse reserves the right to revise and update Terms of Use at our discretion.

Methods of Payment
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Your credit card will be charged when your order is placed, except for holiday orders that are placed in advance. Large holiday orders may require a 20% deposit at the time of the order. Corporate invoicing is available with authorization made in advance by contacting billing@gghorse.com.

Order Confirmation & Receipts
When you place an order online, a confirmation/receipt will automatically be provided to you. You will also receive a confirmation email. Please print that receipt and keep it for your records because no additional receipt will be sent. Orders placed by email, phone, or fax will receive an email sales receipt within a few days of the order.
